No. Air dry clay is safe to touch and use because it doesn’t have harmful chemicals. However, it’s not meant to be eaten. Always keep it away from your mouth and wash your hands after using it! 

The items made of clay can be used as a cake toppers without contacting directly to the cake. You can separate it with acrylic base.
